The organization of the largest international fair in the sector of machinery and equipment for the wood processing industry - LIGNA - will not take place this year, as initially planned for the end of September. Because of the pandemic, and the uncertainty of the future, the decision was made to postpone the event to 2023.
Due to the continued high level of infections worldwide by Covid-19, the slow rate of vaccination in Germany and the world, and because of the continuing restrictions on travelers, the Ligna organization, in conjunction with VDMA Woodworking, made the decision to cancel this year's event.
If all goes well, the next LIGNA will take place in Hannover, as usual, from 15 to 19 May 2023. Resuming the regular events.
